Business Support - Level 7
South East, Croydon
£20,000 - £25,000 + company pension

Our client is looking to recruit a Business Support – Level 7. In this position, you will provide pre sale support to Area Sales Managers, Account Managers and Customers contributing to the development of profitable new business and relationships. You will also provide technical support to Account Managers and IFAs on the company's product and proposition.

The role

Key Accountabilities:

1. Provide pre sale support by working in partnership with Account Managers to achieve targeted business plan. This will include pro-active diary management, pre sale contact on the company's proposition/products and the provision of quotes and administrative support as required.
2. Collation and preparation of materials for sales meetings for Account Managers and IFAs.
3. Maintain regular contact with IFAs around the company's proposition/products. Conduct IFA visits with Account Managers to promote the company processes as and when appropriate. Contribute and actively seek feedback at seminars, promotion and installation of the company's E-Commerce initiatives.
4. Respond to customer and Account Manager enquires in a timely and compliant manner. Request regular feedback from customers to ensure their requirements are being met.
5. Follow and identify opportunities for best practice to improve efficiency of transfers, new business vetting and existing business queries.
6. Actively work with Business Support Manager to increase own and team results against targets.
7. Ensure that all regulatory requirements are handled in line with company procedures.


Skills, knowledge and behaviour:

1. Experience of working in life/ pensions industry and working towards relevant qualifications.
2. Understanding of regulatory requirements.
3. Self starting & pro-active ability to work on own initiative.
4. Effective customer relationship management
5. Verbal and written communication skills
6. Flexibility/ adaptability to cope with change Planning and organisational skills
