Our client is a manufacturing company based in south Liverpool with a £2M turnover. They are currently looking to recruit an Accountant / Administrator.
Skills and Experience:
- Candidates must be able to operate Sage Instant Accounts posting approximately 150 purchase invoices and 50 sales invoices per month, be responsible for all ledgers and be capable of producing monthly management accounts, aged debtor and creditor reports, cash-flows and quarterly VAT returns.
- Candidates must also be proficient with all aspects of payroll and be capable of converting an existing manual payroll system for 30 employees to Sage Payroll and produce monthly salary slips.
- Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Microsoft Access would be an advantage but not essential.
There is the opportunity to develop a broader roll in I.T. and works administration in areas such as quality assurance and stock control for candidates seeking a more involved role in the business.
The position is permanent and could be either full time or part time depending on the candidate's capabilities, experience, range of skills and personal circumstances.
Salary will be in the range £16K - £24K (pro-rata) depending on the above with annual Christmas bonuses subject to company performance and years of service. There are 20 days paid holiday per annum plus all Bank Holidays.
