Financial Controller
c £40,000 + Benefits Milton Keynes
Our client is a £10m subsidiary of a UK PLC, one of the world’s leading independent suppliers of ruggedised embedded computer products, subsystems and support software predominately for defence and aerospace applications. The company specialises in the flexible batch-build manufacturing of high technology surface mount assembly electronic printed circuit boards for the parent and third parties covering diverse markets including communications, military, aerospace, IT, industrial and automotive.
The Challenge:
Take full responsibility for the finance function
As part of the senior management team work with colleagues to define and implement efficiencies across the business and optimise reporting
Make a significant contribution to the development of SAP and other IT systems
Manage the purchasing function for the business
The Candidate:
Qualified accountant with previous financial management experience in a strongly service-orientated manufacturing environment
Commercial approach to business with ability to see and contribute to the “bigger picture”
Technically strong, analytical and IT/IS literate (ideally SAP)
“Hands-on” with good management skills and significant energy and commitment
