Our client, a leading UK telecoms company, is currently seeking network/telecoms engineers for this ongoing contract. This is a good opportunity for an experienced engineer to develop skills in new areas. Duties include: Customer facing and commitment to customer service; Monitor and maintain data, voice and multiplexer systems; Manage regular and high priority faults; liaising with other support departments and service providers; Provide out-of-hours support for key systems; Respond to customers requests for new services; rovide technical support to development projects. Key skills sought: Nokia DN-2, DB-2, DM-2 configuration and management. Cisco ONS and IGX multiplexer systems, Cisco Routing & Switching in TCP/IP & OSPF environment.
