Telephone System Installation Engineer - Nortel BCM and Avaya IP
Vauxhall SW8
£22,000 - £30,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
20 working days per annum, increasing by one day per year with the company to a maximum of 25 days per annum + permanent health insurance, 40 hours per week
Our client has established a strong market presence as an integrated services provider of internet and telecommunications services, computer networks and telephone systems to SMEs within the M25. The group now requires a Telephone System Installation Engineer.
The role:
Ideally the candidate will be based within the M25 with a clean driving license. This role will involve the installation and programming of Nortel BCM and Avaya IP Office telephone systems.
The ability to work to deadlines and manage priorities in a flexible manner is essential.
Candidates must have a minimum of some experience in an installation role and be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Experience essential in:
- BCM and IP Office
- Following ISO procedures
- Panasonic experience, preferred but not essential
Responsibilities:
1. Site surveys & customer meetings
2. Cabling
3. Installation of telephone systems
4. Programming
5. Training of customers
6. Add-on engineering work
