*** SYSTEMS TESTER RAN ***
Our Client is a leading international mobile telecommunications provider. Due to an exciting new project, they are now urgently looking for a RAN Systems Tester.
Your role will be to provide acceptance & integration test activities for the RAN network to support Mobile services.
Applicants should have a degree in electronics, communications or related discipline, as well as a minimum of 2 years experience of testing, integrating and/or operating mobile telephony networks and associated equipment, knowledge of mobile networks, architecture and functionality – BSS, TRC's, OSS, etc, knowledge of radio and associated signalling protocols specifically DTAP, BSSMAP, operation & maintenance experience, configuration and usage of protocol analysers and change control activities. It would be advantageous for you to have radio technology, protocols and feature knowledge, in depth knowledge of Ericsson and/or Nokia and/or Nortel BSS. experience of transport technologies e.g. ATM, Knowledge of packet and circuit core networks and functionality, Appreciation of RAN planning and optimisation principlesa basic knowledge of data networks and protocol analyser and test tool experience e.g. TEM's, noise generators, fading simulators.
