Our Client is a leading international mobile telecommunications provider. They are now looking for a Senior Engineer to start as soon as possible.
THIS AN EXCITING & CHALLENGING PERSONAL OPPORTUNITY TO WORK AS PART OF AN INTERNATIONAL BLUE-CHIP ORGANISATION.
You will be working on leading edge UMTS technology such as HSDPA, amongst a high profile Radio Engineering team with years of experience and competency, with exposure to a broad set of team responsibilities from Contracting to Service Delivery.
Your role will be to carry out acceptance & integration test activities for the RAN network to support mobile services.
Candidates should have a degree in electronics, communications or related subject, with at least 2 years experience of testing, integrating and/or Operating Mobile telephony networks and associated equipment, knowledge of mobile networks, architecture and functionality – BSS, TRC's, OSS, knowledge of radio and associated signalling protocols specifically DTAP, BSSMAP, operation & maintenance experience, configuration and usage of protocol analysers and change control activities. It would be advantageous for you two to have knowledge of the telecommunications industry, radio technology, protocols and feature knowledge, In depth knowledge of Ericsson and/or Nortel BSS, experience of transport technologies e.g. ATM, knowledge of packet and circuit core networks and functionality, appreciation of RAN planning and optimisation principles, basic knowledge of data networks, protocol analyser and test tool experience e.g. TEM's, noise generators, fading simulators.
