My Client, a leading Main Contractor is seeking a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join them in the South West.
The role is to assist the Project/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to secure the best margin attainable and constantly improve the cashflow position of the contract through proper management; Understand and operate company policies and procedure; Measurement and re-measurement of the project works; Procurement – compiling and sending out subcontract enquiry documentation; Ensuring timely return of quotation and complete an analysis/comparison with other quotes and submit to supervisor for consideration.
You will be expected to control a number of subcontractor accounts from enquiry stage through to Final Account, including internal value and liability reporting, ensure that the contra charge schedule and the non-conformance schedules are up to date, notified to subcontractors and charged to their account.
