I am looking for a RF Systems Engineer to join a leading Cambridge based Wireless Semiconductor company.
The RF Systems Engineer will evaluate the performance of new cutting edge mixed mode (analogue and digital) CMOS silicon integrated circuit designs.
The candidate will spend a significant time in the lab using remotely controlled test and measurement equipment. This will include writing embedded C code and Matlab test scripts. While a significant proportion of time is spent working within the System Design Group support to other areas of the company is necessary - thus the ability to handle rapidly shifting priorities is a requirement.
You will be responsible for:
Writing Matlab code to control instrument and data acquisition
Writing Embedded code to exercise chip functionality
Maintaining test scripts and developing for new features
Understand and develop methods for testing Analogue circuits with in a digital chip
If you have a strong Knowledge of Matlab and its use in a test environment, along with experience in C programming & problem solving skills, then this could be the role for you!
