Senior Electronics Engineer, Devon, hardware, firmware, digital, analog, algorithm, micros, FPGA, CPLD, VHDL, DSP, C, assembler, real-time, embedded, spice, PSU, schematic, layout
An engineer is required to work as part of a dynamic team designing electronics hardware and firmware. The work will cover all aspects of NPI product development including development of control algorithms, circuit design, firmware design and verification.
Relevant skill areas:
High Speed digital design, microcontrollers, FPGA, CPLD, VHDL.
Control Theory including control algorithms.
High speed precision analogue design techniques.
Structured DSP and microcontroller firmware including 'C' and assembler.
Real time embedded systems.
Also desirable:
Knowledge and Experience of communication systems.
Circuit pack design and test techniques.
Spice modelling.
Power supply design (switching and linear).
CAD Schematic and layout tools.
