A vacancy has arisen for a Design Engineer to join our Hertfordshire based client to design, develop and support the company?s products using various technologies and resources as appropriate.
The Design Engineer's Key Result Areas:
Working closely with other members of the Technical Department to bring product ideas from concept through to production through the use of good engineering design practice.
Initiating and harnessing innovative ideas in product design.
Designing and developing products for cost-effective manufacture.
Employing a wide range of skills to solve problems across electronic,
Mechanical and industrial design boundaries.
Working with staff, suppliers, and customers in support of the company?s developments, products and services.
Maintaining an awareness of the company?s markets, customers and their technologies.
Maintaining an awareness of the available and appropriate technologies for the company?s use.
Experience:
Essential : Proven track record working in a design/development environment with the following: analogue, digital, embedded software, low power circuits for battery use, AD and D-A interfacing, sensors, and overall product design. Honours degree in Electronic Engineering or Applied Physics or similar subject
