An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer to work with our client who is a major automation manufacture. My client will be interested in applications from Service Engineers, Maintenance Engineers or Installation Engineers who would like to move into an internal sales / technical support role. This role will be commutable from Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire or London and towns like Watford, Borehamwood, and Hemel Hempstead. With a turnover in excess of £20m this company has been supplying control and electromechanical components for over 25 years. The company prides itself on continued growth, achieved through the success of its customers and by the full service and support it provides.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales Engineer who will provide technical sales support to clients for their range of Motor Control Gear, Timers, Temperature controllers, Relays, Sensors, PLC's, Drives & Limit Switches. You will liaise closely with area sales managers to discuss activity within their particular sales area and provide them with technical and application support. The Internal Sales Engineer will help provide customers with technical and application support along with price & delivery information and solutions to their application requirements.
Preferably you will have previous internal sales experience from working in a technical sales role although candidates from a technical but non internal background such as Service Engineers, Maintenance Engineers or Installation Engineers are encouraged to apply. You will hold an electrical qualification as this will be essential for this position. You will posses an excellent telephone manner and are confident at providing technical support. Cable of work individually or as part of a team you will be PC literate and have an accurate eye for detail.
