Are you an FPGA or ASIC Design Engineer with dedicated experience of embedded processors for the semiconductor chipset market? Would you be interested in working in the Home Counties in a location commutable from London, Oxford, Reading, M25/M4/M40?
The role is hardware biased (there will also be some C/Assembler programming) and you will need to know about integrating embedded FPGA or ASIC processors with peripherals (such as Ethernet, DDR, RAM, USB etc) coupled with an in-depth understanding of processor architecture and some simulation. The role involves being a technical specialist and providing design expertise both internally and to customers. As such there will be some travel involved every now and then although this position is predominantly design centre based. Preference will be given for Candidates who already have FPGA NIOS or Microblaze experience.
