This company enjoys the reputation of being a world leader in the design and manufacture of microprocessor based electric motor control systems for battery powered vehicles. These control systems are used as the nerve centre of an electric vehicle, performing speed control, system integration, functionality, and efficiency operations. Due to unprecedented success they require an Electronics Engineer to work on developing new and existing control apparatus.
The role will need someone capable of designing the main power circuits (incorporating current feedback, and gate drives, including device selection). For this you should be skilled in power electronics/power supplies with proven design experience in associated analogue circuits (driver, protection etc.) Preferably to quality standards. For education a good degree with around 5 years post-graduate industrial experience will be expected. Responsibilities include taking product design from conception through to production as well as the supervision of junior engineers/technicians.
