Hampshire - Technical Manager - Our client specialise in the design of IP cores, sub-systems and products that utilise high performance digital signal processing onto FPGA. Due to commercial success and continued expansion they require a Technical Manager to oversee overall programme management, management of a technical design team and System Level Design of his/her own projects. You will be in an existing technical management role with previous success in a similar technology area or be in a Senior Technical Design role looking to develop your career into Management but still maintaining a "hands-on" approach.
You will also be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge in at least one of the following areas;
Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and architectures, Physical Layer Comms (modulation, Demodulation, Equalisation, Coding/Decoding, Satcoms, Mobile); Defence (Radar, Sonar, SIGINT, EW), FPGA/ASIC Design, Simulation and Synthesis.
