An opportunity has arisen for a EMC Technician within Product Development based in the South. Salary is up to £32k Dependant on Experience
Commutable from Folkestone, Ashford, Maidstone, Crawley and Brighton.
My Client operates internationally in the electrical utility and communications markets. They are looking to recruit an EMC Technician to support their Power and Wiring business units for EMC compliance.
The EMC Technician will take a leading role in new product qualification testing to ensure the Company's products compliance with both internal standards and the relevant international industry standards.
Requirements:
Educated to Degree Level or have relevant on the job experience.
Knowledge of circuit design and EMC compatibility.
Understanding of IEC61010 and IEC61557
Experience of GTEM or similar screened room EMC test equipment.
Experience with general electrical/electronic test and measurement equipment and interpreting results.
