Our client is a leading designer of integrated electronic components and power semiconductor devices for applications such as power distribution, traction and space technologies. They seek an engineer within the Power Electronics Group. The Group is the primary applications development team, and is responsible for special measurements on customer circuits, production of data sheets and assisting customers to identify application problems. The successful candidate will have in depth knowledge of high power electronic systems, ideally within the areas of power conversion, including an understanding of HVDC transmission. The work will focus on supporting customers and ensuring that they are using products safely and most efficiently. There will be significant time in electrical labs taking measurements in a high voltage environment. Please contact us to discuss.
