They meet the ever-changing needs of their customers, through sales teams that have the freedom to act quickly, decisively and with autonomy.
Due to recent expansion we are looking to recruit a Senior Technical Specialist Engineer who will provide specialist level technical expertise and consultation to other members of the technical team, product suppliers and management in terms of technology advancement, product positioning and supplier focus. The Technical Specialist will have the responsibility to develop original technical application material, product selection guide and technical training in specific areas of technology.
You will work effectively across all of the sales channels, and support the sales teams and customers at a design level.
You should have an electronics degree or equivalent, proven success in a technical role and design experience in a specific field of specialization, ie. Digital, Analogue, Opto and displays. A strong semiconductor product knowledge combined with effective oral & written communication skills. Ideally suited to a Field Application / Design Engineer that is looking for a commercial role.
