A global manufacturer of cable assemblies, connectors and integrated PCB/cable assemblies. They supplying and work with a wide range of professional electronic companies including telecommunications, datacomms, medical, consumer and instrumentation markets. They are an ISO9002 approved supplier of interconnect products to major OEM companies.
Through recent internal promotion, they are now seeking to strengthen the team with a Field Sales Engineer to cover accounts in the North mainly focussing on the M62 Corridor. Strong business development aptitude and knowledge of connector components and value added services is required, and although you do not need technical qualifications it would be advantageous to have a good level of product knowledge and application understanding. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to build strong relationships to both maintain and grow existing business.
The successful candidate will have a mature approach, be self motivated, reliable and be an honest sales person. You must be able to recognise opportunities for creating new business from leads provided and also through prospecting.
