Business Development Manager - Global & UK
Defence & Security
C£60k + Bonus + Benefits
The Business Development Manager is a front line contact for new and emerging customers and markets for my client and is there to initiate the Sales opportunities within the market to ensure accurate, timely and professionally managed customer communication.
Main responsibilities for this role are:
To take ownership of the strategic business development plan.
To develop and win profitable business in the defence and security sectors,
Globally and within the UK.
To develop teaming and partnering arrangements with other companies
Internationally.
To develop relationships with government, research and corporate institutions for development of new products.
To identify new international market opportunities and areas for new
Product development.
The successful candidate will be able to satisfy the following requirements:
Track record of achievement in either the defence or security sector either
On a global or regional basis.
Experience of working in a high technology market sector
Degree qualified preferable
Experience of closing major deals (£2m+)
Experience of developing and establishing new product lines
Excellent communication and Presentation skills.
Self motivated
Able to work under pressure
Clean driving license
Be prepared to travel worldwide
