Two exciting opportunities have arisen for External Sales Engineer's to be responsible for the sales of Automation and process control products in the Midlands and Northern England. You will be suitably located on one of the two areas and possibly live in Birmingham, Leicester or Nottingham or for the Northern patch for Area Sales Management possibly Manchester, Liverpool or Newcastle. My client is a multi million pound company who are a major corporation within the Automation and Process Control industry. They are a leading distributor of Automation components and distribute for many of the leading manufactures within the industry.
The two experienced External Sales Engineer's or Area Sales Manager's will be responsible for Account Management and sales of various automation components within two areas of the country, Northern England and the Midlands. You will be an experienced in Business Development and building strong customer relationships. You will develop your particular area so to increase productivity and thus, profitability. You will also produce quotations and proposals with the assistance of operations and technical support to meet the needs of their customers.
You will have Automation and control knowledge with a proven sales background and an ability to build sound relationships. A sound understanding of the Automation industry will be essential and you will have a good knowledge of automation equipment including Drives, PLC's, HMI's and DCS systems. You will have a positive attitude and an ability to work on your own. Advantageous will be the capability and desire to manage and grow the business within allocated accounts. You will be able to demonstrate your success at developing new accounts and maximising every opportunity that presents itself. You will have strong financial awareness and the appropriate qualifications to support working in a technical sales environment.
