Our Client is a global provider of products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions.
Due to franchise expansion they now require an outstanding individual that is able to face the challenges of today's electronic technologies.
The position is for a North East Field Application Engineer (FAE), who will be able to position a range of semiconductor technologies with design engineers at concept stage. You will provide technical support and project management to major customers and strategic opportunities in the North East of England as part of the UK applications team supporting a sales network. You will also be involved in the definition of new devices that serve the needs of local markets and customers.
The ideal applicants should have a Degree or equivalent level of experience in Electronic Engineering. Experience in semiconductor technologies, design or application .The role of Field Application Engineer would ideally suit an existing semiconductor distribution FAE or Design Engineer who enjoys building strategic relationships and enjoys and excels within a fast paced commercial environment.
Some experience in technical support of customers or collaboration with customers is also an advantage.
