Gas - Analysis - Sensor - SPC - Six Sigma - Electronics - PCB - Calibration - QMS - ISO
My client are a well established organisation designing a variety of Electronic Instrumentation products.
They are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer required to maintain and manage the operation of a small production calibration area. The role will be required to ensure consistent and accurate calibration of rare gas type sensing devices, analyse new products and develop production ready test methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
" Calibration lab management, ensuring effective running of production processes whilst maintaining target yield levels. Ensuring all resource is planned appropriately and production targets maintained.
" Standardisation of key work practises in production such as PM schedules, test methodologies, data analysis and interpretation and data reporting.
" Work with WIP tracking systems to capture key production data such as scrap, rework, failure modes and yields.
" Develop production test specifications by product to ensure 100% compliance to end user spec.
Key Skills (not all essential):
" SPC tools/techniques
" Problem solving
" Access database experience
" Yield analysis and improvement
" Experience in change management
" Electronics PCBA manufacture
" BOM
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree in a related discipline with experience in a manufacturing environment.
