My client, based in Oxfordshire, are a well established organisation designing a variety of Electronic Instrumentation products.
They are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their expanding R&D centre in Oxfordshire.
Main Function Description:
Electronic design and development for new products
Electronic design support for current products
Problem Solving, specification and qualification of electronic components and assemblies for current products.
Responsibilities will include:
Design of products to meet requirements from concept through to schematic capture and PCB layout.
To provide technical input and peer review to other projects.
To support the validation of product designs using comprehensive performance testing against a broad range of international performance and safety standards.
Essential Experience:
5+ years design experience
Thorough understanding of low voltage analogue and digital circuit design, including
Schematic Capture
PCB Design
Low power instrumentation
Design using low power 8/16bit microcontrollers
Design for EMC compliance
Component Specification
Generation or supervision of design performance and production test plans
Documentation
