MTL is a global leader in Fieldbus, Intrinsically Safe Instruments, Process Control Systems for the ATEX environment and they currently seek a Business Development Manager to further develop opportunity in the Oil & Gas sector focusing particularly in the Aberdeen / North Sea arena.
With a background in Technical Sales or as a Sales Engineer you will ideally have experience in the Distributed Process Control (DCS) environment either at a System or Component Level. In the absence of this you will have a proven background in the Oil & Gas sector promoting solutions and technology into major projects and be comfortable developing knowledge and contacts in a new technology.
With a turnover in excess of £100M and a global presence, our client has demonstrated year on year growth thru organic growth and acquisition. They are recognised for their innovation, project abilities and customer support. The role will see them invest and develop further in the critical Oil & Gas market and we require a diligent, professional self-starter capable of recognising opportunity and following that opportunity through the complex chain of project management. You will have demonstrable skills in developing business and influencing decision makers.
