Redline Group are looking for an experienced Control Pressure Drilling Engineer to be based in Aberdeen.
The purpose of this role is to provide engineering support of ongoing contracts and technical business development support in pursuit of new work.
The role it's self will be required to design and prepare controlled pressure drilling programmes through the engineering lifecycle from basis of design , front end engineering design (FEED), to project execution.
Instrumental in controlled pressure drillings well design, cost management and logistics planning
Assist if further development of the controlled pressure drilling product line as an integrated solutions technology and provide technical support and input for tender submission.
Candidates must possess a detailed knowledge of all aspects of drilling operations, and drilling engineering topics and have had some management experience. The role will also be to provide field supervisory support as required to ensure CPD activities are successfully executed and be involved in training, mentoring and guiding junior engineers ensuring that they are kept motivated and challenged.
Candidates would be educated to degree level within a relevant field and ideally be registered as a Chartered Engineer however this is not essential. Candidates must have proficient experience and exposure to drilling or subsurface engineering. This together with excellent communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative
