Redline Group requires a Hydraulic Design Engineer. Our client delivers instrumentation and monitoring solutions from design through manufacture, installation and commissioning.
This role is to manage and coordinate projects from customer liaison through system design to manufacture, installation and commissioning of complete systems, for use primarily in offshore drilling rigs.
Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following; Hydraulic control system design,
Review of other hydraulic control system designs, Commissioning systems as installed, On-site fault finding and repair of controls systems (Hydraulics) and travelling as required on an occasional basis, rather than regular rota, to external locations both onshore and offshore (predominantly but not exclusively North Sea)
Applicants must posses experience of project co-ordination or management experience and have a background in Hydraulics. Ideally have a relevant qualification or qualified by experience. Experience which is of interest to our client is Choke/BOP/Subsea & Hydraulic Control System. Ideally candidates will have a valid offshore survival certificate.
