Technical Support Engineer Offshore Support Vessel
Redline require an experienced Technical Support Engineer on Offshore Support Vessels for our client based in Aberdeen.
Our client is one of the worlds leading engineering contractors providing underwater services including engineering, procurement, installation, construction and inspection repair and maintenance services for the Oil & Gas industry.
General duties are day to day support of lay system on vessel encompassing maintenance, operations and project support.
Primary responsibility is to provide technical support for a specific equipment line i.E. Diving Construction, Lay, Hyperbaric, Survey or RIT.
Provision of technical support to projects through bidding, mobilisation, operations and demobilisations as well as assisting in monthly reports on the equipment including:- Safety budget variance, forecasting, etc. You will have responsible for specific scopes of work within the equipment line i.E. Upgrades, major overhaul etc.
Responsible for implementing the companies PMS and upgrading it to prevent breakdowns.
You will posses a professional manner appropriate to the role and communicate in an articulate and comprehensive manner.
Educated to HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, you should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and smart working methods.
You must posses all current and relevant Offshore Survival certification and have relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in offshore construction and equipment maintenance.
