DSP Software Engineer, Aberdeen, Acoustics
We require a DSP engineer (software/hardware) for our client in Aberdeen who is innovative and forward thinking and has a product that is unique to the market. Their aim has been to offer the Oil and Gas sector advanced technologies for utilisation in today's operation fields. It has become common practise to use antiquated and spurious methods of data collection and post process considerations when running inspection projects. Our client has been developing several technologies that will assist in the collection and visualisation of real-time data in the majority of down-hole aspects.
This role is commutable from Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Banchory, Portlethen, Ellon, Peterhead, Huntly, Montrose, Inverurie, Newburgh
Their rapidly growing engineering team is looking add an experienced and competent DSP engineer with a good understanding of signal processing and DSP programming, ideally with the supporting electronics knowledge to design solutions around the DSP chips. The role will have responsibility for all software implementation on the company's tools. This person shall be an integral member of a small engineering team and is expected to contribute to regular think-tanks and open design discussions while at the same time concentrating on the job in hand. This is a hands on position and will suit an engineer who likes to get results while working at the leading edge of technology.
