My client, a major semiconductor manufacturer, is seeking Test & Product Engineers, to be based in Edinburgh or Wiltshire.
You will be assisting in productionisation of new products in the range of high volume production of Mixed Signal semiconductors.
Duties will include:
Product characterisation & qualification data analysis.
Yield enhancement.
Pre-production and volume production support throughout product life cycle including yield and test cost.
Resolution of device yield and reliability issues.
Competences required:
Understanding of manufacturing process or production test methods.
Basic understanding of device issues including applications, design and reliability.
A Linear/Analogue background or experience in new product qualification activities.
Experience of production mixed-signal IC testers - Teradyne A5xx or Catalyst knowledge would be particularly relevant.
You should be degree qualified in electronic engineering or other engineering related discipline or have relevant equivalent experience.
