Our client is a groundbreaking semiconductor company developing parallel processing solutions for high compute and high bandwidth applications. They can offer the dynamic feel of a start-up organisation but with several years R&D already invested into the company they are developing significant market traction.

They require a senior applications scientist with expertise in either computational life sciences or computational physics. In addition to a strong science background, candidates will also have considerable software development experience, developing in C, Fortran or assembler, and enjoy the challenge of developing applications on un-conventional systems such as, parallel, embedded, games console, shader or FPGA based architectures.

In addition to working with the applications team and customers/partners to support development and porting of life science applications to our clients accelerated systems, the successful candidate will also be contributing to the specification of future architectural developments and product roadmaps.
