My client urgently need a hardware engineer with 1 or 2 years experience to support increasing project activity.
You should be familiar with both analogue and high speed digital hardware design to discrete component level, and have experience in layout, schematic generation, circuit analysis and validation. Your role will involve taking designs all the way through the test, debug and verification stages in order to hand over to manufacturing.
Of particular interest will be skills / knowledge from the following list: Mentor Graphics, audio / video, electrical networks (time & frequency domains), op-amps, ADC / DAC, signal processing, DC-DC convertors, microprocessors, thermal design, RF, surge protection, simulation, communication theory.
Familiarity with reliability, EMC and LVD conformance issues will be very useful.
