Farnell meet the ever-changing needs of their customers, through sales teams that have the freedom to act quickly, decisively and with autonomy. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales growth in a territory worth in the region of £1.5million turnover per annum. Taking full ownership for delivering sales performance in line with Company strategy, you will manage and prioritise your existing account base and identify and pursue new business opportunities in order to maximise sales. To do this you will need excellent influencing skills with the ability to engage and challenge internal resources to meet the needs of your customers. Being creative when you need to, your success will be built on taking a structured approach and having the determination to win. You will be passionate about customer service, operate with integrity at all times and enjoy working as part of a wider regional team.
Commercially astute, the successful candidate must have experience of account management in a B2B, service-oriented environment, ideally in electronic distribution or related business sector. A Technical qualification and/or experience in electronic/electrical engineering are highly desirable. Current UK driving license is essential and we are looking for individual's located central to the sales territories.
