Based in the North-West our client is looking for a Senior Technical Author. You will have at least 5 years technical authoring experience preferably in a software environment. A good knowledge of Framemaker or a similiar package is required.
Our client a leader in its defined field is looking for Senior Technical Author based in the North-West. You will have at least 5 years technical authoring experience preferably in a software environment. In addition you will have a good understanding of the complete documentation production cycle and strong organisational skills.
An in-depth knowledge of one or more professional publishing tools is essential e.g. Framemaker or equivalent. Additionally any experience with development systems or knowledge of SGML and Visio would be beneficial
You will take responsibility for writing, editing and updating highly technical documentation and working closely with engineering teams to obtain source information. In addition you will plan and track multi-document projects and ensure documentation meets our clients corporate image.
