Our client is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer, with the following skills: engineer, RF, design, development, test, systems, components, specifications, WLAN, 802.11, mixers, modulators, VCO, PA, spectrum, antenna, ADS, Matlab, modelling, IOT, approvals, wireless, radio, microcontroller, hybrid module, PCB, layout, PADS.
Our client is a successful fabless semiconductor company who are pioneers in the field of microcontrollers for wireless connectivity.
Due to continued growth, they now need to hire a senior RF Systems Engineer to be responsible for providing RF systems design, debug and test capability for board level hardware for wireless products.
The role requires 5yrs + exp in board level design and development with RF components, including PA, VCO, mixer and other. Exp of integrated RF products, particularly hybrid modules and similar, knowledge of RF system level specifications and the derivation of development specifications, RF system modelling using ADS, Matlab and other software tools and knowledge of RF testing and characterisation and test development are also required.
The successful candidate will also have knowledge and exp of radio systems, such as 802.15.4, GSM, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN using single chip radios, interoperability and regulatory testing and approvals and working with high volume electronic products.
The role will be based at this young and dynamic company's city centre UK HQ.
