A specialist Pre IPO technology company company, based in Yorkshire is seeking a Software Stack Marketeer to take worldwide responsibility for current and future product development.
Working as an member of the small world-wide Marketing team, you will be involved in all aspects of strategic and tactical product marketing for a range of software protocol stacks. The main purpose of the job is to promote and support the promotion of the software stack and associated products worldwide.
Duties
Prepare and generate product literature and application notes
You will be required to specify new products, define the product roadmap etc.
Perform market research and prepare strategies for new products, applications and market segments.
Influence the future design of products, ensuring solutions meets customers solution needs
Act as an adviser and technical expert to customers during the design-in process
Participate in the preparation of quotations and proposal to customers.
Design and delivery of technical training to sales engineers and distributors.
Qualifications / Experience/ Skills Required
Knowledge of software protocols, such as - 3G, UMTS, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Bluetook, Zigbee, UWB
Degree level qualification or ability.
Able to work world-wide, interfacing to all levels within the company and customers.
Assimilation of a technical understanding of the complete application system.
Ability to communicate technical concepts and requirements.
An understanding of the concepts wireless and networking concepts and construction.
Self motivated activity requiring only general guidance from superiors.
Several years in design.
Marketing and applications business experience is ideal.
