Test Hardware / ATE Engineer

C£30k-£35k
The succesful candidate will be responsible for the specification, design, development and maintenance of high quality test systems.
The role will require you to spend time at a subcontractor site in order to install and commission the test systems, as well as diagnosing production issues and implementing corrective actions.
You will work with test software engineers on the development of firmware and hardware test routines to support hardware design.
It is essential that you have several years experience in a commercial / industrial development environment. This may have been in areas such as telecoms, consumer electronics, aerospace or automotive engineering. You should have some experience of managing projects and teams, and understand the importance of timescale in taking a product through its development lifecycle.
