My client, based in Staffordshire, are one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-quality laboratory instrumentation for use in the life-science, pharmaceutical and clinical sectors employing 900 personnel.
Their continued growth has created a vacancy for an experienced and versatile analogue and digital hardware designer to join their team.
Main responsibilities include:
Design, development and support of bespoke hardware platforms for new instruments.
Support and further development of existing bespoke hardware.
To take a major role in structured system testing, including application software.
To author design and customer documentation.
Applicants should be of graduate calibre with demonstrable experience of hardware design(analogue and digital), with some software knowledge (assembler, C) and the experience of taking products through the full life cycle to manufacture.
