Due to continued growth in business, our client is expanding its UK based design group. They are internationally recognised for developing leading edge semiconductor products and solutions. This design centre specialises in circuit design for wired communication solutions.
This person will be responsible for direction, growth and improvement of a 50+ person design team. Manage IP development projects whilst interfacing between customers and the development teams. Take full financial control of running the UK Design team. As well as ultimately taking responsibility for multiple sites in different locations.
Suitable applicants will have demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of 50+ employees. Ideally with an international focus, leading multiple sites in various locations.
A detailed understanding of ASIC design and methodology and basic understanding of key IP for different business segments (analog, mixed-signal, system knowledge) is expected.
A key quality will be the ability to handle multiple, nearly simultaneous tasks-from extracting customer requirements to articulating high-level system architectures.
