Following a period of rapid growth, our client's EMC Group is seeking an EMC consultant to join their successful team. The company undertakes electromagnetic measurements, surveys, trials, investigations and tests over the entire frequency range between 20 Hz and 40 GHz. Assessments are made of susceptibility and emissions, to conducted and radiated EM coupling mechanisms, in both frequency and time domains. Work is carried-out at all levels ranging from individual components, modules, systems, platforms, and complete installations across the defence, aerospace, railways, and built environment sections.
The successful applicant will to required to:
- Provide EMC assessments and measurements
- Contribute to the continuing development of EMC knowledge within the group.
- Meet commercial business targets
- Effectively manage projects to achieve on-time and within budget delivery
Essentially, you will have the following knowledge and experience:
- A good degree in Electronic Engineering/Physics or similar
- A sound understanding of EMC theory, standards, design, measurements, modelling and Management/Control Plans
- Three years' or more experience of EMC
- A successful record of managing EMC projects.
