We are seeking a Systems Architect with experience in DSP, modem, architect, 802.11, OFDM, DMT, HyperLAN, equalisation, C, matlab, simulink, software, jobs
A new venture backed start-up developing highly integrated connectivity and networking silicon into high volume consumer markets requires a PHY Layer Architect to Specify digital modems for SoC in a highly challenging medium. Responsible for overall physical layer systems performance and requiring close interaction with FPGA / ASIC and Software teams. First hand experience in specifying and implementing high performance modems is essential.
802.11/Tetra/HyperLAN and/or noise cancellation, equalisation, and coding gain expertise, plus experience in OFDM/DMT or multi-channel wireless data communications using M'ary PSK for both coherent and non-coherent modems is desirable.
Requires a minimum of 5 years engineering experience in Systems Level physical layer specification and design. This is a hands on role that requires a history of design, implementation, product integration, verification and testing. Strong skills in advanced DSP, C and Matlab/Simulink are expected.
