Our client is a South East based start-up venture developing next generation analytical test equipment, such as spectrometers, targeting the Security & Defence, Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Drug discovery Market sectors. They have a vacancy for a Senior Software Developer to join their Engineering team.
They are seeking degree-qualified candidates and will have at least several years' commercial experience developing embedded software in C/C++, with Real-Time Operating Systems for multithreaded applications (uCos-II, QNX, etc). Candidates will also have some GUI development and experience of OO implementation, Java SE/desktop programming for PC applications including Java Swing.
Duties will be to design and implement new embedded modules and PC applications including some GUI development, from requirements through to test and maintenance.
