Our client is a successful product development company (circa 20 people) specialising in the development of advanced wireless products for the consumer electronics market. Their expertise includes complex System on Chip design, embedded and PC application software, radio and baseband hardware development. Due to increased workload, they need to urgently fill an opening for a Product Architect. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate would interact closely with the three design groups in the company: chip design, hardware and software. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years experience in product architecture based on consumer wireless technologies and/or audio and video products. Good appreciation of embedded software issues and a background in chip or hardware design gained in consumer applications such as wireless, mobile or video would be a distinct advantage.
