Brief job description:
Our client is a leading stockist of automation equipment specialising in the supply of Variable Speed Drives, Motors, Process Instrumentation, Soft Starts and in-house manufactured electrical panels built to specification. They enjoy a dominant market share within the region.
They are looking to appoint a field sales manager to cover the Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough area. You will be responsible for driving sales into the end user market (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing), Utilities and OEM’s. There will be some but limited specifier sales.
The position demands solution and commodity sales so you will need to be able to converse with electrical engineers, read electrical schematic drawings and negotiate with procurement personnel. You will be responsible for initial concept design and liaison with the design team to obtain final proposal documentation. This is a home based position and applicants will already live on patch.
