My client in South Wales are seeking to recruit Real-time DSP Software Engineers.
Our client is a major IP company developing systems and applications for SoC designs in communications and multimedia. Their technology is already used worldwide in cordless phones, digital radio, and audio systems. It is now being included in a new range of devices such as digital & analogue TV receivers, personal digital radio players, multi-function mobile communications, and wireless devices. They form the department responsible for the development of real-time DSP software and hardware systems for these multimedia consumer and telecommunications applications.
With continued success they now require additional enthusiastic Design Engineers to join the team. You will gain responsibility for system design and algorithm development for implementation into high volume consumer products.
In return you will join a team of high calibre research and design professionals specialising in the application of real-time embedded systems, who are working on all levels of signal processing systems from research into new algorithms through to real-time implementation for a range of applications.
To be considered you will need to be qualified to at least a good degree level, with honours, in electronics (or similar related) and hold over 2 years post-graduate working experience. Being well motivated with DSP content and an interest in audio/video applications will be preferred. Your key skills should include DSP or real time software and programming in C/C++, Assembler, or MATLAB.
