My client in Warwickshire are seeking to recruit a Senior Zemax Optical Engineer.
A senior optical engineer is required to design optical systems for new developments and support existing products.
Ideally you will have experience in some of the following: optical system design, including bulk optics and multi-element lenses, high power laser beam delivery systems (direct and fibre), laser technology, camera vision systems, illumination systems/light sources, tolerance analysis, fibre coupling analysis, component life test and general optical characterisation techniques.
Desirable skills & experience:
Optical design software training - preferably Zemax.
Any mechanical CAD design experience would be useful, particularly with Solidworks.
Project management training or experience would also be advantageous.
