Mechanical Design Engineer, West Midlands, Autodesk Inventor, machine tools, tooling, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical
Specific Responsibilities:
Working with customers to developing existing and new products to meet their specific needs.
Detail design of concepts.
Liaison with the manufacturing departments to ensure design for manufacture
Production of manufacturing drawings to Company/BS/ISO standards.
Technical sales support & customer liaison.
Occasional travel to customers worldwide.
Person:
Technical background to degree level or equivalent.
Knowledge of 3D solid modeling design software, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
Preferably from a machine tool/tooling background.
A degree of experience with pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical systems.
Experience of customer facing on a technical level.
