Our client is the worldwide leader in device software optimisation and services. They provide market-specific embedded platforms that integrate RTOS, development tools and industry relevant technologies.
The ideal candidate will be a technical-sales professional who can demonstrate a proven track record within the Consumer market and in selling software and services propositions. Candidates are probably working in consumer or silicone companies at the moment and have/may have sold hardware in their careers before.
Our client is particularly looking for candidates to be comfortable developing and articulating a value-proposition that encourages beneficial process change and standardisation.
Responsibilities will include driving growth, building pipeline and establishing, nurturing and sustaining strategic relationships. The Account Manager should be experienced in working with partners and using contacts and relationships to strengthen the position of our client within the consumer marketplace.
Key skills required:
· Minimum of 3-5 years working within the Consumer sector
· Minimum of 3 -5 years sales experience
· Evidence of repeated over-achievement
· Proven experience of major account development and target account selling
· Proven experience of working within the team environment
· Knowledge of Linux use within the consumer market would be useful.
A strong customer focus combined with excellent presentation skills is a pre-requisite.
