Our client, a major player in the automotive industry, is looking for highly skilled and experienced EMC Test Engineers to work from their Midlands site.
Duties will include:
Setting up and conducting various types of EMC tests.
Providing EMC validation and design services.
Investigate and resolve EMC test failures
Deliver test projects to customers on time and in budget.
Supervising teams of EMC engineers.
Checking & calibrating equipment or test chambers.
Essential Experience
EMC Testing from the Automotive and/or Aerospace industry.
EMC/RF testing, circuit design or approvals/standards.
Understanding of RF measurement principles.
An understanding of modern test and control instrumentation.
Experience of automotive and/or aerospace products/systems.
Desirable Experience
EMC aerospace testing to DO-160 is highly desirable.
Experience of setting up, conducting and analysing EMC aerospace lightning tests is highly desirable.
Producing accurate technical reports.
Experience of quality systems, ie UKAS.
A willingness to work overtime and shift patterns as necessary is essential.
NB: You will be required to work shifts although there is not a regular shift pattern in place.
