My client is a specialist distributor of leading edge communications. They supply a wide range of chips, modules and platforms for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, GPRS, VOIP, Zigbee etc.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Applications Engineer to join an expanding team. Based from their office in the Midlands, you will be responsible for the Technical Marketing, Franchise and Product Management and Engineering Support for their commodity range.
Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Director your role will include providing in depth technical applications support across communications layers as well as managing activities with design houses.
The ideal candidate will be required to have specialist knowledge of products, the technologies, market conditions, customers and suppliers. You will have a technical degree and have previous applications engineering experience. You will be pro-active and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will have good commercial skills and be able to communicate well at all levels.
